Short Hike to a Gorgeous Waterfall // Oregon Elopement
You may be surprised, but this elopement was only one mile off of a major Oregon highway. Our short and easy one-mile hike with minimal elevation gain leads you to the base of this beautiful waterfall.
Although our couple only lives 45 minutes east of this trail, they were astonished by the beauty and simplicity of the hike. With a spring elopement in the Pacific Northwest, it’s important to always be prepared for rain. The hike in was dry, but as we neared the waterfall a light mist started to fall and helped us capture some beautiful moments on the way to the bottom of the falls.
Once we made it to the base of the falls, we stopped for a moment to take in the beauty, to dance, and to let them enjoy the presence of each other. We helped them make it down as close to the falls as possible and captured these special moments.
Then, we continued up the trail to their private dinner with a spectacular view.
We loved every moment of their elopement and every piece of the day was beautifully planned and thought out.
